The Vertex pen uses a standard Schmidt style refill.

Remove the magnetic cap.

Unscrew the nib to expose the ink refill.

Remove and replace the ink refill

NOTE: be careful of the spring that is inside the end (finial) of the pen. It will be needed by the refill.

Reassemble the pen to complete ink replacement.
